The story of American Masonry began in 1995.  I got my first job as a mason tender for a local fireplace mason.  It was thrilling to be working outdoors, with my hands, crafting focal points and gathering places.  In the early days I relished the comraderie and gratification that came with the hard work we were doing.  An apprentice was born and throughout the late 90’s and early 2000’s I worked tirelessly to hone my craft even taking more spare bricks and leftover mortar to practice with in the evenings.  I was very fortunate to have have mentors that were some of the most talented craftsmen in the field.   During those years I was employed for some of New England largest and most prestigious construction firms.  I held Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen local 3 membership from September of 1999 to June of 2003.  Some of the projects worked during my apprenticeship include The Exeter-Stratham Cooperative Middle School, The Salem Icecenter, Londonderry Junior High, Umass Lowell Athletic Complex,  The West Village at Northeastern University, the Litchfield High School, and over 100 Luxury homes.
